Hello. I’m Charles Carson.

I am admitted to practice law before all Hawai’i and California state and federal courts, and the United States Supreme Court in Washington, D.C. For over 27 years I have handled cases with significant injuries and damages, and have had over 35 jury trials. I have received jury verdicts in excess of $1,000,000.

My clients have included working persons and their families, small businesses, multi-national and federally chartered corporations, and public entities and state governments.

I received a Bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University, and a Juris Doctor degree from Whittier College Law School in Los Angeles, California. In law school I was on Dean’s List, a published member of Whittier Law Review, and received an American Jurisprudence award for legal writing. I completed the Pepperdine University School of Law program for mediation of lawsuits.

I am a member of the State Bar of Hawai’i, the State Bar of California, the Bar of the United States Supreme Court, the Bar of the United States District Court for the District of Hawai’i and the Central, Southern, Eastern and Northern Districts of California, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Also, I am a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, and the Million Dollar Advocates Forum.

I am an approved mediator for Marin County Superior Court, Contra Costa Superior Court, Santa Clara Superior Court, Alameda Superior Court, and San Luis Obispo Superior Court. I have served as a privately retained arbitrator in numerous cases and for the American Arbitration Association.

Prior to practicing law, I was in the radio and television industry and a member of the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA). I hold FAA Airline Transport pilot and flight instructor certificates, and have over 4000 flight hours.
